Today begins the journey I have been planning for three years now and has probably been the hardest day of my life, or so it seems. I had to say goodbye to the people I love most, pack two suitcases with enough clothes and items to last me a little over six months, and take three flights to land in Osaka, Japan. I have only been stopped in security once so far, but I have only made it to Chicago. I got stopped for an M&M candy bar, but honestly the lady seemed pretty interested in them so I think she just wanted one. We board our flight for Seoul in about 20 minutes, which will be a FOURTEEN hour flight. I guess that means it’s time to conquer my fear of peeing on planes. I will let you know how it goes…Also, please someone tell me why it's necessary to have five plane tickets for three planes.

Cheesy Sidenote: I will miss everyone in the United States so much, but I am also really excited to experience a new culture. Thank you all, you have supported me and encouraged me to take this opportunity and I appreciate it immensely. Alexander, thank you for all your help over the past couple months and for your support while I am gone. There is no way I would have been able to actually follow through with this without your reassurance, I will miss you so much.
